Residential Care Services Consultation

Please Note! This consultation has now finished, and a report will be available in the New Year

The Council’s Cabinet met on the 11th September to receive the feedback from the 12-week public consultation which took place earlier this year on recommendations for the future delivery of residential and day care services.

The report, outlines proposals for which Care homes should be retained and invested in by the Council, alongside investment in delivery of the provision of Extra Care and those homes proposed to be decommissioned.  Cabinet agreed to initiate a further 12 week consultation on these proposals.

The proposal is summarised and outlined in this booklet.
