Y Pant Comprehensive School

The exciting redevelopment of Y Pant School saw pupils moving into their fantastic new facilities in January 2017. With support from the Welsh Government’s 21st Century Schools Programme,  the Council was able to invest £24.1m to improve the learning environment and facilities available to pupils, staff and the wider community at Y Pant.

The new facilities include brand new science, art, food technology and design technology teaching spaces; impressive ICT classrooms, a lecture theatre, modern dining facilities, a new library, a wonderful main hall, fantastic sixth form facilities, a floodlit 3G pitch and Multi Use Games Area (MUGA).

Externally, the old accommodation and mobile classrooms were removed - while more outdoor play spaces, comprising two grass pitches for football and rugby, were created during 2018/19.
