Safe and Warm Spaces have been created all across the County Borough for residents to access.
This year once again community groups and organisations have worked with Council officers to open Safe and Warm Spaces in community venues.
Within each venue residents can expect to receive:
- An accessible, welcoming space for residents of RCT (open access)
- Free hot drinks and snacks (this could extend to a more substantive meal where possible)
- Advice and support for residents
- Activities such as exercise, games, arts & crafts
Please contact the organisation directly either by ‘phone, via social media or go to their web pages for more information on opening days and times. Please note that some activities/times may be dedicated times for children, families, older people or people with disabilities for example.
The list of community venues open across Rhondda , Cynon and Taf is below, (which will be updated regularly) and residents are also able to drop into any Library within the County Borough.
