Where can I Use My Cymraeg in Rhondda Cynon Taf?
The main purpose of the Use My Cymraeg app is to simplfy the process of people finding opportunities to use their Cymraeg locally – learners and confident speakers.
Using Cymraeg Locally
The app launched in June 2026, bringing together activities, events and groups in Rhondda Cynon Taf where Cymraeg is deemed the main language.
Whether you are a confident Cymraeg speaker, learning, or want to regain confidence, Use My Cymraeg has something for you.

Use My Cymraeg is a partnership between Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council and Menter Iaith Rhondda Cynon Taf, with support from other local organisations:
Menter Iaith - A charity that provides opportunities to use Cymraeg, aiming to increase its use and build confidence among speakers.
Dysgu Cymraeg Morgannwg - Learn or improve your Cymraeg. with a range of courses.
Ymbweru Bro - Stories and projects from local people.
Use My Cymraeg supports the Welsh Government’s Cymraeg 2050 strategy and Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s 5-Year Welsh Language Promotion Strategy, which aim to increase the use of Cymraeg in everyday life.
