Work to construct a new safe crossing point at the pictured location on A4233 Trebanog Road, Trebanog, will start this week.
The Council will use funding from its ongoing Highways and Transportation Capital Programme to install the new signal-controlled crossing, to create a safer environment for pedestrians.
The work will start from Wednesday, July 30 – and is anticipated to last around five weeks in total.
In order to safely proceed, temporary two-way traffic signals will be used.
The current pedestrian access via the pavement will be maintained for the duration of the works.
The Council has appointed Calibre Contracting Ltd to deliver the project in the community.
Thanks to residents and road users in advance for your cooperation.
