New crossing providing safer pedestrian environment in Trebanog

The scheme to create a new safe crossing point at A4233 Trebanog Road #Trebanog has now been completed. 

The new signal-controlled crossing was commissioned and brought into use on Tuesday, September 9. The carriageway was also resurfaced as part of the project.

The temporary signal-controlled pedestrian crossing was removed by the Council’s contractor Calibre Contracting Ltd, following completion of the scheme on Tuesday.

The new crossing provides a safer environment for pedestrians, and has been delivered using funding from the ongoing Highways and Transportation Capital Programme.
