Replacement footbridge enables Beddau public right of way to reopen

A local pathway off Castellau Road in Beddau has now been able to reopen, following completion of a Council scheme to replace a damaged footbridge. 

The new footbridge, pictured, carries a public right of way (ANT/213/1) that runs to the west of Castellau Road, in the direction of Llantrisant Common.

This route had been temporarily closed after the previous footbridge was damaged, as the Council prepared for a replacement structure to be installed.

The scheme has been completed using Council capital funding for Parks Structures.

Spectrum Construction Services Ltd has successfully delivered the works.
