The Council will undertake work next week to replace the traffic signals at the pictured junction in Llantwit Fardre – being scheduled during the school holiday to minimise disruption.
The work will take place where B4595 Llantrisant Road meets Cadwal Court and Woodlands, over three days from Monday to Wednesday (February 16-18).
The scheme is required as the traffic signals have reached the end of their design life, with the signals and the poles set to be upgraded.
During the works, temporary traffic lights will be used while the permanent signals are being replaced.
This traffic management will used from 9.30am to 3pm on each of the workdays, to avoid the busy early morning and late afternoon travel periods.
The Council has appointed Centregreat Ltd to deliver the work on site, with the scheme being funded via the Council’s Highways and Transportation capital programme.
Thanks to residents and road users in advance for your cooperation.
