Rhondda Cynon Taf Council is delighted to announce that its award-winning Graduate Scheme is now open for applications.
The Council continues to invest in developing local talent and creating meaningful career opportunities. The Graduate Scheme offers ambitious graduates the chance to begin a rewarding career within one of Wales’ largest local authorities.
This year, there are 19 Graduate positions available across diverse fields including civil engineering, health and safety, accountancy, Welsh Education, project management and more!
Councillor Maureen Webber BEM, Rhondda Cynon Taf Council Deputy Leader, said: “I’m pleased to launch our 2026 Graduate Scheme and once again welcome applications from talented graduates who want to make a difference in Rhondda Cynon Taf.
“It has never been more important to support young people with the opportunities they need to thrive, and we are committed to providing our young people with access to career opportunities that benefit them and our communities living across Rhondda Cynon Taf.
“Our Graduate Scheme has consistently attracted high-calibre candidates, many of whom have gone on to build successful careers within the Council.
“As one of the largest employers in the County Borough, we recognise the importance of investing in our future workforce and providing well-supported, high-quality career pathways.
“Working for the Council means contributing directly to essential public services that support our communities every day. I would encourage graduates who are passionate about public service to apply and take the first step in their career with us.”
