Eat, Shop & Be Merry
While you’re enjoying the festivities, why not make a day of it? Warm up with a bite to eat, enjoy a festive treat, or tick a few presents off the Christmas shopping list, let’s support local businesses while we’re at it!
Whether it’s finding that perfect gift from Aberdare or Pontypridd market, stopping for a winter warmer in Treorchy or Tonypandy or picking up last minute bits for Christmas dinner, there’s every reason to shop, eat and celebrate at our highstreets this Christmas.
Councillor Scott Emanuel, Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Cabinet Member for Communities said: “The festive season can present financial challenges for many individuals and families. In response, the Council remains committed to providing low-cost town centre events that offer a wide range of seasonal entertainment and activities. These events are designed to be enjoyable for all, whilst also supporting our local businesses. We warmly encourage residents to attend, participate, and take advantage of the opportunity to shop locally this Christmas.”
