Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council has prepared an
Emergency Plan (pdf) capable of dealing with events from major emergencies to small, but possibly unusual emergency situations.
The Emergency Plan provides a framework for an immediate response by the Police, Fire and Ambulance Services to any major disaster which may occur within the County Borough.
This plan is a generic document which has been designed as a guide to response. It is recognised that incidents vary enormously in degree of response required and impact on the Community. Responding agencies will use experience and knowledge to deal in a flexible way with any incident.
There will be times when you may be affected by an emergency but your life is not in immediate danger. During this time you need to know how to help yourself and those around you. This booklet is designed to help you, your family, your community or your business prepare for, responde to, and recover from, the impacts of events that have disrupt our daily lives.
