Young Ambassadors

The Young Ambassador programme aims to empower and inspire young people to become leaders through sport, helping to encourage their inactive peers to become hooked on sport.

The expectation of every Young Ambassador is to be the young person's voice for PE and School Sport in their school and community. They will work to promote the positive values of sport and be a role model and champion for sport and physical activity within their school.

At Sport RCT we would like to work with our Young Ambassadors to increase participation opportunities within their schools and local communities, aiming to get every child hooked on sport for life. We support this by providing our Young Ambassadors with leadership training, networking opportunities with ambassadors from other schools and resources through our various funding opportunities.
