As part of the Councils Revenue budget strategy for 2026/27 and its commitment to supporting businesses in RCT, the Cabinet has agreed to provide additional financial support to retail, leisure and hospitality businesses that have a rates liability to pay.
The scheme provides a maximum award of £650 per qualifying business premises in 2026/27 and this will increase to £750 in 2027/28.
Businesses will need to make an application for this relief.
