Description

World Menopause Day is held every year on the 18th October. The purpose of this day is to raise awareness of the menopause and the support options available.

The theme for this year’s World Menopause Day is Menopause Hormone Therapy.

The International Menopause Society have created this leaflet to help increase understanding of menopause, and how it can be managed and treated.

What are we doing to support staff?

Menopause Support group

We have created a menopause support group. This group is:

-       Open to everyone regardless of age, sex or gender- we all need to understand menopause!

-       A respectful, safe space to share experiences, learn from each other and ask questions.

If you would like to join this group, please complete the form below:

Alternatively, please contact the staff wellbeing helpline:
Email: wellbeinghelpline@rctcbc.gov.uk or call 01443 424100.

Please note that by joining this group, you consent to being added to our team’s channel and being contacted about the group.

Menopause Café

We, within Occupational health, also run a menopause café which is a space to learn more about menopause and what it’s like to experience, as well as discussing tips on how to manage some common symptoms.
