World mental health day is on Thursday 10th October. The theme for this year is ‘It’s time to prioritise mental health in the workplace’.
Did you know…
- In 2022/2023 875,000 workers suffered from work related stress, depression and anxiety?
- Mental ill health is now the most common cause of work limiting conditions among those aged 44 years and younger?
This demonstrates the importance addressing mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.
The Mental Health of our staff is a priority for the Council and we aim to offer a wide range of different support to our staff to ensure support is accessible for everyone.
As part of this day, we are running our virtual Let’s talk about stress workshop.
This session will look at how to build resilience and manage stress, raise awareness around these topics, and give the opportunity for participants to ask any questions they may have.
Date: 10th October
Time: 3:30pm-5pm
