The Police & Crime Commissioner for South Wales has recently launched her survey, which relates to the amount residents contribute to policing through their Council Tax. Before the Commissioner decides on the police budget in January 2026, she wants to understand the level of support from residents on the proposed options for increases to police funding for 2026/27. Feedback will help the Commissioner decide how to strike a fair balance between providing adequate funding to protect vital services and keep people safe, while also considering affordability for residents. |
