Data Cymru Lets Talk RCT

Let's Talk: Living in RCT

RCTCBC has teamed up with Data Cymru to carry out this survey. We want to hear from as many people who live in RCT as possible to find out what you think about where you live, what is important to you and how you interact with and view the Council.

Your answers and your views will be shared with the leaders and decision makers in the Council, and will help shape the way we run local services and serve your areas. Please take part, and encourage your friends and family to do the same – the more responses we get, the more we can understand our communities.

We are working with Data Cymru on this survey as part of a Wales-wide effort to gather and understand the points of view of people who live in different counties. The questions will be asked online, but if you would rather take part offline you can request a paper survey or print a PDF document – please see the information below. An Easy Read version is also available for anyone that would prefer that.

The survey closed on 5th September 2025.

How we use your data

Your answers and any information you share will be visible to RCTCBC and Data Cymru only, along with the IP address of your computer or other device that you take part with (this is a long string of numbers that is unique to each internet-using device, and helps us remove any duplicate or inappropriate responses). Information will be held for 3 years, and fully in line with the requirements of the UK GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Paper survey information will be entered into electronic databases and stored in the same way as online responses, and physical copies will be securely destroyed. RCTCBC’s privacy policy can be read on our website, and Data Cymru’s privacy policy can be read on their website.
