If you have never been on the internet before or need help to do something on your computer, tablet or phone come along to Digital Fridays.
We can help get you started, show you how to use things like Skype and staying safe online. Whatever your digital query, pop in and we will do our best to help.
Support is also available to Verify your identity and to maintain your Universal Credit account.
You do not need to have your own computer as you can use one that is provided free of charge at the Digital Fridays venue. However, if you do have your own just bring it along with you. It is usually easier to learn on your laptop, tablet or phone and we will show you how to connect to the free WiFi service available at each of the venues.
Require a little extra IT support?
If you have never used a computer or tablet before, fear not. We have dedicated sessions to help get you started. You will need to come along for 4 to 6 weeks as we support you through switching the devices on, setting you up with your first email, helping you search and feel more confident using technology. Require IT skills for employment?
IT skills are a crucial skill when looking for employment. Whether this is word processing, spreadsheets or the use of the internet you will need to develop your skills in these areas to give yourself the best possible chance of landing that job. We have courses to help you do just that. You will need to commit to a 4-6 week course which will take you through a number of steps that will boost your chance of getting to interview stage and landing that job.
