Inside Llys Cadwyn – Virtual Tour

The £38m Llys Cadwyn development in Pontypridd town centre is now officially complete – and you can take a 360-degrees virtual tour around its gateway building, right here on the Council’s website.

Contractor Willmott Dixon handed over the development to the Council in October 2020. Number 1 Llys Cadwyn (nearest Bridge Street) is the gateway building, incorporating a 21st Century Library, Council customer contact point and a state-of-the-art leisure/fitness centre.

Number 2 Llys Cadwyn (centre building) includes Grade A office floorspace and a food/drink unit, while Number 3 Llys Cadwyn is the new headquarters for South Wales Metro operator Transport for Wales. The areas in and around the buildings are accessible to the public, including the new Taff Vale walkway running adjacent to the river.

You can now take a look around the inside of Number 1 Llys Cadwyn along with the grounds surrounding the building, using the Virtual Tour on the link below.

Virtual Tour instructions

The virtual tour will begin on the new bridge from Ynyangharad Park to Llys Cadwyn, and automatically move from one section of the development to the next – spending a short amount of time at each point. The tour will move from the bridge into the grounds and then into Number 1 Llys Cadwyn’s foyer, library and gym areas.

You can pause the Virtual Tour at any point, using the buttons in the top right hand corner of the screen. Once paused, you can ‘grab’ the screen by clicking and holding on it. This will allow you to look around the area you are in. Let go of the screen to progress the tour and move onto the next area, or use the buttons in the top right corner.

Please note, the Virtual Tour may not be supported on older web browsers.
