Wellbeing Assessments

The foundation to our wellbeing starts with ourselves, self-care is vital in maintaining our wellbeing and other interventions can be used to provide further support or strengthen our wellbeing when we need it. Please click here to see our wellbeing booklet, which has more information on self-care and staff wellbeing.

Our Wellbeing Assessment has been designed to get you to the most appropriate and effective form of support and intervention as quickly as possible. During the assessment you will get a chance to speak to a professional about your mental health and how it affects your wellbeing at work. The professional will then talk to you and recommend appropriate next steps.

For some, it may just be a matter of talking to someone and that’s all they need. For others, it may be that they need additional support such as counselling, coaching or specific intervention such as drug and alcohol support.

Staff may be referred for a wellbeing assessment by a manager or by HR. Staff can also self-refer for a wellbeing assessment if they would prefer.

Self-referrals are fully confidential and Occupational Health DO NOT provide information back to your manager or HR.

To self-refer for a wellbeing assessment please email the wellbeing helpline on wellbeinghelpline@rctcbc.gov.uk or call 01443 424100
