Irresponsible dog owners have been warned that if they are caught allowing their dogs to roam on sports pitches, on or off a lead in Rhondda Cynon Taf, they will face a FINE!

Rhondda Cynon Taf Council is celebrating its latest recycling figures - after it hit over 70% for THREE whole months – it then hit a remarkable 80% over Christmas and the New Year!

Transport for Wales and Rhondda Cynon Taf Council are excited to announce that the Porth Bus Interchange will open on Thursday 30 January.

The Planning and Development Committee has granted consent to construct Phase Five of the Rhondda Fach Active Travel Route. This will be the final section of the primary route, a 2.8km section of shared path between Ferndale and Tylorstown

On Wednesday, Cabinet Members amended the proposal for Ferndale House Care Home, instead agreeing to keep it open until new care accommodation in Rhondda Fach is built

The Council will soon start work to redevelop an area of derelict land at Hannah Street in Porth – bringing it back into use by providing extra parking spaces for the town centre, some green space, and public seating
