Residents are advised that a Met Office Yellow Weather Warning due to the potential risk of high winds affecting Rhondda Cynon Taf will be in effect on Tuesday (December 7) from 9am until midnight.
Storm Barra is expected to bring high winds, which will affect much of the UK, resulting in difficult driving conditions and possible travel disruption in places. Please allow extra time for your journeys for the duration of the weather warning and drive according to the conditions.
The Met Office is also advising of simple things that can be done in advance to ensure your home or business is ‘Weather Ready.’ For example, ensuring all garden furniture and play equipment such as trampolines and toys are secure.
