Yellow Weather Warning Due To High Winds

Residents are advised that a Yellow Weather Warning due to the potential risk of high winds affecting Rhondda Cynon Taf will be in effect from the early hours of Saturday, November 27, until 6pm.

This may result in difficult driving conditions, with possible disruption to public transport, delays on roads and possible bridge closures. The Met Office is also warning of the slight chance of damage to buildings and power failures which may affect mobile phone coverage.

The Met Office is also advising of simple things that can be done in advance to ensure your home or business is ‘Weather Ready.’ For example, ensuring all garden furniture and play equipment such as trampolines and toys are secure.
