|
Courses are run on a needs basis and generally cover Microsoft Office, Communication, Time Management etc.

Childcare
|
We link with the RCT Childcare team to offer childcare choice session and sector specific training.
|
|
Horticulture
|
Courses include grass cutting, strimming, chainsaw – delivered on labour market needs.
|
|
Leisure
|
Linking in with RCT Leisure Services, courses can include National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and Fitness qualifications.
|
|
Retail
|
Sector specific training linked to work experience with local employers. Training includes Customer Service, Food Safety and more.
|
|
Transport
|
Training for this sector can include CPC, HGV and Taxi Licences.
|
|
Beauty
|
Courses offered include Customer Service Training, Manicure, Gel/Polish qualification, BIAB. Also exploring opportunities to progress onto self employment.

|
Care (Domiciliary/Residential)
|
Primarily delivered with a guarantee of an interview. Training includes Person Centred Approach, Dementia Awareness, Consent to confidentiality and support with DBS checks

|
Construction
|
Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) and Health and Safety delivered on a monthly basis. Dependant on labour needs we can also deliver 360, Dumper and Roller, ADT, Telehandler and many more.

|
Hospitality and catering
|
Catering training delivered with links to RCT Council vacancies – courses include Food Safety, First Aid, Food Allergens and Manual Handling.
Barista training to gain practical experience alongside recognised qualifications, which include Fire Safety, COSHH and Waste Management.

Rail
|
Dependant on local job opportunities, training can be offered which includes Initial Medical and Drug and Alcohol test, 2 day PTS or 10 day PTS and Track Induction, OLEC 1 and Small tools. Training will include Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Security
|
Delivered on a quarterly basis, 7 day Security Industry Level 2 qualification which includes a one day Level 3 First Aid qualification, 3 day CCTV operative training and a one day pit barrier operative training course.

Warehousing
|
Led by a labour market need, training is offered which includes Fork Lift Training, Counterbalance, Reach and Bendy.
