Learning Option 1: E-Learning
E-Learning gives individuals the opportunity to learn from the comfort of home, work at their own pace and earn Continual Professional Development (CPD) points.
Why book through RCT Catering Services?

Each course is accessed through an online interactive e-learning portal provided by Highfield, and candidates’ are administered by Catering Services on your behalf.

The Training Team will issue the e-learning licenses direct to the candidate - all that is needed initially is a name, however an email address or contact telephone number will be needed for the unique log on details to be provided to the candidate.

A ‘Handy Tips’ guide to get the best out of the qualification.

If a candidate is struggling or wants clarification regarding any of the subject understanding/content, the training team will help support them via the telephone/email/Teams (during office hours).

If you are an Organisation procuring licenses on behalf of your employees, the training team can provide feedback on qualification progress, the amount of time spent in the learning programme, and once the qualification is complete, can forward you a copy of the e-certificate for your records. (Note, GDPR rules will apply).

Other Services
Catering Services also provides Quality Assurance Consultancy Services. Support Officers are available to monitor food quality and safety standards, conduct hygiene audits, give hygiene related advice and assist in developing Hazard Analysis documentation.
Payments
E-Learning/Blended Learning - An invoice* and payment instructions will be issued by RCTCBC at the time of license purchase and is not refundable.
Traditional Face-to-Face Learning – An invoice* will be issued by RCTCBC following the event. In the event that you are no longer able to attend the course, we would kindly ask that you provide us with a minimum of 72 hours’ notice. For cancellations after this period you may incur a charge.
*(A Journal Transfer option may be available for Internal RCTCBC departments – please provide your cost centre and detail code at the time of booking.)
