Relax and enjoy using different art materials in a friendly, supportive class in a building situated in the lovely Ynysangharad Park, Pontypridd.
Try different media and work at your own pace. Everyone welcome, from beginners to those who want some space to be creative.
Fine Art for Wellbeing
Art for wellbeing combines creative use of art methods and materials with relaxation and reflection and offers time to develop your own personal art projects with expert support.
Activities will include:
- Responding to nature and natural forms.
- Painting to music.
- Using words and literature as a starting point for your art work.
- Exploring mark making in wet and dry media.
- Thinking about the psychology of colour and how it relates to mood.
Singing for Lung Health
Come and sing together accompanied by a guitar with a relaxed friendly group.
It will include some breathing exercises and vocal warm ups followed by a broad range of songs.
No experience necessary.
Mindful Living
This course offers the space and experience to be more cognitively caring, sharing tips and practice with like-minded people.
Defy your senses and pay attention to your mind and body to make the most of your daily experiences. There are different themes each week and tasks to carry out at home to support your wellbeing, for today and for future use.
Insights to Wellbeing
A healthy mind a healthy body. This course will give you the opportunity to meet others and reflect on your health, gaining tips and motivation to live a healthier lifestyle.
Aromatherapy
This course will give you a basic understanding of how to blend essential oils for aromatherapy massage.
