Opening Hours

The library is now open for browsing, click and collect is still operational:

Ground floor

Library - providing adult, young adult and children’s sections;

• 2 x community meeting rooms with interactive screens and video conferencing facilities.

• 6 x public access pc’s

First Floor

• Local Studies room including 3 microfilm readers and study space

• Local studies book stock

• 2 x public access pc’s

• Education room with 10 pc’s

• Archive storage area.

Public Access Computers

One 4 All   Advice Service

The One4All advice service is located on the groud floor.

To apply for Council Tax Discounts, Housing benefit, a Blue Badge or Free Bus Pass just make an appointment with one of our advisors at www.rctcbc.gov.uk/One4aLL

Gym

The 1^st floor houses a spin studio (30 bikes) and class studio with changing facilities together with a fully accessible changing room with a mobile hoist.

The 2^nd Floor gym has a range of running machines, X Trainers, cycles and a selection of resistance machines, plus adapted cardio machines. Loose weight equipment and cable machines are also available. 

Both areas are accessible via a lift from the basement and ground floors.

Toilets

Male and female public toilets are available.

Anyone requiring accessible use of toilet facilities and changing spaces, the building now houses a Changing Place which will enable people who require extra equipment and space to allow them to use toilets safely and comfortably.

Employment advice and support                

Communities for Work Plus (CfW+) offer a wide variety of support and non-accredited and accredited community based training in the hub to all residents in RCT who are looking to get into employment, training or volunteering and run weekly sessions at the Hub which include:-

Community Learning

There are a range of community learning classes as well as arts and  cultural projects on offer at the Hub. These will be advertised within the Hub and will also be promoted on this webpage shortly. 

Local Payment Point

These payment points can be used to pay for a range of Council services, including council tax bills, business rates and more.
