Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Leisure for Life team is pleased to be supporting Ferndale Community School as it re-opens its swimming pool following a £1million refurbishment.
The school’s new-look pool, which has undergone extensive improvements to access, lighting, heating and its changing rooms, is open for all the community to enjoy.
Leisure for Life has allowed the school access to its free App to enable people to check the timetable and make bookings for the lane, casual and family swimming sessions.
As experts in swimming pool management and safety – and operating facilities in line with Covid-19 restrictions – Leisure staff are also supporting and advising the team running the school pool.
While Leisure for Life is supporting its partners at Ferndale Community School, the pool is not a Leisure for Life facility and, as such, residents cannot use it as part of their Leisure for Life membership, but can swim on a pay-as-you-go basis.
