Weather Warning Due To High Winds

A Met Office YELLOW weather of winds reaching up to 60mph, and heavy rain showers, affecting the whole of Rhondda Cynon Taf, comes into effect from 3pm on Thursday (May 20) to 9pm on Friday (May 21).

Forecasters are warning of possible delays on roads and public transport, with some damage possible to outdoor temporary structures and trees. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to take extra care during this period of adverse weather conditions.

The Council will be closely monitoring the weather conditions for the duration of the Met Office weather warning and will respond to any issues, should they arise.
