Eisteddfod update: Ynysangharad War Memorial Park phased reopening!

Great news for the local community in Pontypridd! Ynysangharad War Memorial Park will be reopening on a phased basis, with Lido Ponty and Lido Play the first sections to reopen on Wednesday August 14.

For your safety, pathways and roads throughout the park may be temporarily inaccessible while site equipment is moved. Please be assured that we are working swiftly with the Eisteddfod team to ensure everything is safe and ready for your enjoyment.

The Council would like to thank local residents for their continued patience and cooperation during the Eisteddfod, which came to our beloved Ynysangharad War Memorial Park in Pontypridd for the first time since 1893. Truly a historical and joyous occasion!
