Spring is in the air, and that can only mean one thing at Rhondda Heritage Park Museum… the much-loved Easter Egg-Stravaganza is back for 2026!
The popular family event returns on Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 April, kicking off our events calendar for the year with two days packed full of Easter-themed fun for children and families to enjoy during the school holidays.

- Children’s rides – small rides suitable for younger children are included.
- Easter crafts – hop into the craft corner and get creative with hands-on Easter activities.
- Petting Farm - everyone’s favourite returns for 2026 with your chance to get up close and personal to some fluffy spring animals!

Taking place during the school holidays, this firm family favourite offers children a fun, magical day out while showcasing everything Rhondda Heritage Park Museum has to offer. The venue continues to be a key visitor attraction for Rhondda Cynon Taf offering the abandoned underground mine tours, with many people returning throughout the year for our full programme of events, including the Classic Car Show, Halloween Spooktacular and Santa’s Toy Mine.”
