Adult Learning Courses

An Adult Community Learning course offers the ideal opportunity to learn a new skill, meet new friends and make a new start.

Our tutors are friendly, helpful and experienced and will welcome you to our courses. Many of our courses are accredited by Agored Cymru which will allow you to progress to higher level courses should you wish to gain qualifications.

Main stream courses

We run a variety of courses covering as many topics as we can.

Tablet-2
Including - Computers for Beginners, IPads Only, Tablets and Smart Phones and Organise and Edit your Photographs.
Computer-Class

Including - ICDL Core and ICDL Advanced.

Sign-Language

Courses for Beginners, Improvers and Intermediate.

History

Including - Family, Local and Art History.

Art
Including - Upcycling your Clothing, Sewing Skills, Sketching for Fun, Landscape Art, Fine Art and Seasonal Crafts for Wellbeing.
Guitar-Lesson

Including - Guitar for Beginners, Guitar for Improvers, Song writing and Creative writing.

CPR
Including - Emergency First Aid in the Workplace, Paediatric First Aid, Food Safety in Catering and Health and Safety.
Aromatherapy
Including - Stress Management and Aromatherapy

Learning-Steps
RCT Learning Steps
The Learning Steps courses provide opportunities for people with learning disabilities. The courses encourage learners to learn new skills, meet new people, learn at an appropriate pace and work with specialised tutors, the courses are offered face to face and online.
Learning
English, Maths and Digital Support (Essential Skills)
We offer everyone the opportunity to improve their English, Maths and Digital skills in a supportive atmosphere with a friendly experienced tutor. Small group sessions run throughout the year, and you can join at any time.

We may also be able to provide some of our courses through the medium of Welsh, please let us know if you’re interested in Welsh-medium courses when you enrol.
