RCT ‘LEARN TO DIVE’
The Rhondda Cynon Taff (RCT) ‘Learn To Dive’ program takes place only at the Sobell centre and is a series of structured classes which provide a clear pathway for the safe introduction of diving skills. RCT ‘Learn to Dive’ program covers levels 1 to 5 of the regional program structure. Each level in the scheme provides a well-defined set of goals and targets for the learning of the sport. This is based around key skills at every level, allowing for progressive development.
The RCT ‘Learn To Dive’ program is carefully linked to the Swim Wales National Framework for diving.
Classes are thirty minutes in length and are managed through the ‘Learn2’ lesson management system. This system allows parents access to the online home portal, which provides regular feedback on the child’s progress.
