Rhondda Cynon Taf Council's £1.7m playground investment programme is in full swing, delivering improvements to the play facilities so many families rely upon.
Our Play Strategy ensures every child has the right to enjoy play in safe, high-quality facilities. Playgrounds allow children and their families to benefit from healthy activity outside, at no charge to them.
Play is also important for physical, emotional and social development and it inspires imagination and creativity.
Nearly 50 playgrounds will have benefitted from RCTinvest by the end of 2016/17 with more planned in the future.
