Completely free to use, the Cashless Digital Wallet forms part of Leisure for Life’s ongoing commitment to customers to provide secure, modern and convenient options so they can manage their accounts and access to leisure in the way that suits them.
The Cashless Digital Wallet is perfect for those who do not pay a monthly membership and want to create a credit pot, which can be used to access gym, swimming, fitness classes, indoor sports and health suites.
Parents and carers can also use it to top up the accounts of children and young people, so they always have credit in their wallet if they want to go for a swim or attend the gym.
You can even top up a Cashless Digital Wallet as a gift for a leisure-loving friend or family member!
Topping up is safe and easy and can be done via the Leisure for Life APP or website. You can also pop into your nearest Leisure for Life centre and staff will credit the account on the system for you.
Every time you use a leisure centre, the cost of the activity is taken from the credit balance so you can see what you are spending and when you need to top up.
There’s no set or maximum amount by which you can credit your account. To find out more, ask staff at your nearest Leisure for Life centre or select the Cashless Digital Wallet section of the APP or website.
Cllr Ann Crimmings, Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment and Leisure, said: “Leisure for Life is constantly adapting so it can meet the needs of its customers, especially in these constantly-changing times when people want and need to keep an eye on what they are spending.
“A monthly membership remains the easiest and most affordable way to access Leisure for Life, with one monthly payment enabling unlimited access to gym, swimming, fitness classes, indoor sports and health suites across all our centres.
“However, we know there are many customers who are not ready to, or do not want to, commit to a monthly membership and prefer to pay for their leisure access on a pay as you go basis.
“The Cashless Digital Wallet is perfect for this. Credit your account on the go and you don’t have to add in payment information every time you want to book a pay as you go class via the APP.
“Parents or carers can use it for children and young people, adding credit to their account on weekends and school holidays so they can access leisure in their spare time. You can check your balance and make a credit anytime.”
