Employment, Skills and Training

We have a number of grant funded employment support programmes running across Rhondda Cynon Taf, offering support and advice to all residents over 16, who are looking to get into employment, training or volunteering.  You can also receive support to up-skill when you are in work.
One to One Support
Access support on a one to one basis to make positive changes; be it to get more active, access activities and training opportunities, gain qualifications, start volunteering and find work.
Training
Accredited and non-accredited opportunities to learn new skills and add qualifications to your CV
In Work Support 
One to one coaching and guidance to help you to fulfil your potential and feel better equipped to progress your career.
Volunteering and Work Placements
Support to access volunteering and work placement opportunities along with direct links to current employment opportunities in all sectors.
Life Skills
Increase your digital and basic skills including English and Maths.  Boost your confidence, begin volunteering and improve your mental and physical wellbeing

Grant Funded Programmes:

Our employment support services are delivered through the Welsh Government Grant Funded Communities for Work + Programme and Local Growth Fund.

Communities for Work Plus (CfW+) offers support to all residents in RCT who are looking to get into employment, training or volunteering.
