Reference enquiries

You can access reference material such as newspapers, magazines, dictionaries, directories, maps and photographs at the reference libraries. These items cannot be borrowed, but can be consulted in our libraries at specific study desks which house digital microfilm/fiche scanners.

Canon MS800 digital microfilm/fiche scanners can be used with the libraries’ microfilm and microfiche documents. These documents include material such as census returns for the local areas, as well as back runs of many local newspapers.

For reference inquiries, e-mail: Library.Reference@rctcbc.gov.uk
