Access and Inclusion is pleased to share with you this year’s professional learning programme.
We know schools value the opportunities we offer to continue to develop practice in supporting children experiencing barriers to learning and ensuring all school staff are knowledgeable and skilled to deliver high quality inclusive universal teaching and learning opportunities in line with the ALNET Act. Our professional learning offer also provides high quality opportunities for staff to support the delivery of additional learning provision.
We will continue our support for ALNCOs through regular forum and cluster working. Our service pathways for both The Learner Support Service and The Educational Psychology Service ensure the workforce can access support and guidance in a timely manner. We hope the learning programme outlined below will provide additional opportunities for the wider school workforce. From listening to feedback from schools and participants we know how much you appreciate the flexibility offered through our range of learning approaches and we will continue to review our offer to adapt and develop our delivery options. In continuing to ensure our professional learning supports schools effectively some of our courses now have built in additional support and evaluation over time to ensure it makes a real difference to your pupils.
We offer learning through both a range of centrally organised courses and as a menu of learning, which can be requested for in school delivery as a twilight session or part of an INSET day. We are happy to provide learning for all school staff, governors or parents.
Where there is the opportunity to use grant funding to secure additional professional learning from outside organisations, details of this will be shared as soon as they are available. If you cannot see the learning that meets your requirements, please contact Ryan Phillips who will be able to advise on other professional learning options available through Access and Inclusion Service.
Please note all learning opportunities must be booked using the online booking form on the RCT website to book any available courses.
