Lido Ponty has it all!
With three pools; a main pool, an activity pool and a splash pool, all heated to 28 degrees, Lido Ponty offers fantastic swimming opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.
Lido Ponty is open seven days a week for early morning swims (lane and casual) in the main pool and the activity pool. These run right through the season – rain or shine!
Fun sessions, where the activities (inflatable obstacle course, Aqua Peddlerz and Water Walker)are out, take place on weekends, bank holidays and school holidays. We also add two after-school fun sessions in the run up to the summer holidays, when the weather is nicer.
Please note, anyone can attend these sessions and just swim if they wish to.
If you want to enjoy the activities you need to purchase an activity band (one for each person who wishes to go on them, including children). You can purchase your band at the time of booking, or you can buy one from reception upon arrival.
Spectator tickets are needed for anyone who is attending Lido Ponty, but not swimming. You cannot go poolside without a spectator ticket or a swim ticket. Please consider this when booking.
Aimed at our smaller visitors, the splash pool is complete with an umbrella water fountain that your little ones will love. They can bring their buckets and watering cans and play in the warm water in this safe and happy environment.
On our warmer days, simply dip your toes in the heated water and relax on the sun terrace.

In Winter, water temperatures in the outdoor pools is lowered to 14 degrees for weekend cold water swims for ages 16 and over.
It is important that everyone has a great time with us at Lido Ponty, the National Lido of Wales, therefore it is vital that you stay safe.
