Every sports club has that person.
The one who somehow always makes it happen. The volunteer who’s been there for years (or decades), quietly giving their time without ever asking for recognition. Now’s your chance to shine a light on them!
We’re inviting nominations for Volunteer of the Month, celebrating the unsung heroes of our clubs – the people who do it all, week in and week out, simply because they care.
If you know someone who:
- Has volunteered for years or even decades
- Does the behind-the-scenes work no one sees
- Never looks for credit but deserves it most
Nominate them today and help us say thank you.
Because clubs don’t run without volunteers – and some deserve a little extra recognition.
The Sport RCT Volunteer of the Month competition has been up and running since January 2016 and many fantastic volunteers have been recognised and rewarded.
What is it?
A volunteer recognition competition for community sport volunteers that live or volunteer in Rhondda Cynon Taf.
How does it work?
Sport RCT welcome members of the public to nominate community sports volunteers for the fantastic work they do. Each month one nominee is chosen and the successful sports volunteer is highlighted on social media and rewarded with a certificate and £50 voucher.
