The Council has announced that the one and only Santa Claus is coming to a town centre near you to spread some festive cheer.

The arrangements of this year’s Christmas Town Centre Experience, which will see a series of events held across the County Borough’s eight principal town centres between November 26 and December 18.

The last 18 months have been difficult for everyone and COVID-19 has impacted all aspects of daily life, with the majority of festive events cancelled last year - which is why the Council is delighted to once again bring these hugely successful events to our town centres – Santa is Coming to Town for 2021!

Rhondda Cynon Taf’s town centres have got Christmas all wrapped up for you this festive period, with unique gifts from their many boutiques and the big name stores too – parking is FREE after 10am from 1-31 December – and you can even meet Santa while picking up your presents! On top of this by shopping local you will be supporting your local community and be giving the planet a gift by reducing your carbon footprint!

Santa is now fully vaccinated and has been recently topped up with his booster jab thanks to the national vaccination programme – residents are reminded to get vaccinated when they are invited, Santa’s orders!
