Two Met Office Yellow Weather Warnings covering Rhondda Cynon Taf, due to further heavy rain, are in place from 9pm (Friday, October 29) to 9am (Saturday, October 30) and midnight (Saturday) to 3pm (Sunday, October 31).
This follows persistent heavy rain over the past few days and may result in difficult driving conditions, with possible disruption to public transport and a risk of flooding in some places. Motorists are advised to allow extra journey time for the duration of the two Met Office weather warnings.
If you do experience any issues over the weekend, then please call our Emergency Out Of Hours number on 01443 425011.
The Council will once again have extra crews and resources on standby over the weekend to deal with any issues. The Council will also be monitoring culverts over the weekend and will be clearing debris from them if required.
