*Final Week Of Our Santa Appeal 2022!
Now in its 10th year, the Council's Santa Appeal has made a huge difference to thousands of children's lives on Christmas Day for the past decade.
Wonderful residents, businesses, charities, and organisations have donated thousands of gifts to children and young people who may not have had a gift to open on Christmas Day.
This is only possible thanks to the overwhelming support and generosity of those who help us provide presents. Thanks to your generosity, nobody is left out at this special time of year.
All children and young people identified by Rhondda Cynon Taf Council social workers wake up to at least one seasonal gift on December 25. Each gift is thoughtfully selected by you for a specific age, including gift card vouchers for the older children on Santa's List!
This year we kindly ask you to support our Santa Appeal again if you can. It will make an incredible difference to a child or young person living in Rhondda Cynon Taf.
Supporting the Santa Appeal 2022 is simple – all you have to do is email CustomerServices@rctcbc.gov.uk or call 01443 425025 and tell Santa's Helpers how many children you would like to donate something special to this Christmas.
You will be given the name and age of a child. The name provided will be an alias to protect the child's identity, but it will represent a real child in Rhondda Cynon Taf.
Our Santa Appeal 2022 Donation Line opens on Tuesday, October 25. Lines will be open from 9.30am to 4.30pm, Tuesday to Friday. The closing date to pledge your support is Friday, December 2, with all gifts with us by Friday, December 9.
Once you have the name and age of your chosen child or young person, you will have details of where you can drop off your donation at your nearest collection point in the County Borough. All gifts must be in open gift bags and at their collection point by Friday, December 9.
Santa's Helpers from the Council will collect all gifts from the various collection points and ensure they are ready and waiting in homes to be opened on Christmas Day.

I am delighted that, once again, we can help those children and young people who may not otherwise have a gift to open.
"Our Santa Appeal is a Christmas tradition. Thousands of gifts have been donated and distributed across our County Borough during the last decade. The generosity of our local communities has been overwhelming.
"We again ask you to support us and donate what you can as we spread festive cheer and remember others at this special time of the year. Together we can all show that we care this Christmas."
