The Council has now completed works to install a new safe crossing point on the main road through Groesfaen.

The new signal-controlled pedestrian crossing (pictured) is located on the A4119, east of the road’s junction with Y Parc.

The new crossing was brought into use on Friday, March 31. Associated work has included extensive kerbing, renewal of footways, and resurfacing to both sides of the new crossing – over a length of 100 metres in total.

The work was funded via the Making Better Use Programme, which is part of the Council’s wider Highways and Transportation Capital Programme.
