School Fund returns!
School Fund returns to Sport RCT for possibly the last time!
Due to funding cuts, we are unsure whether we will be able to offer our School Fund after this financial year. Therefore, we are opening it up for one final time.
School Fund is open from today until October the 25th. If needed, we will open a second round in January.

Young Ambassadors
Young Ambassadors will use their roles to Inspire, Influence, Mentor and Lead within their school or community. With your help we will provide ongoing, person-centred support for all Young Ambassadors to develop as confident, motivated, and skilled young leaders. We want them to learn leadership by providing positive and meaningful opportunities and experiences that will enhance their integral skills.

We will be holding 3 online Welcome events to kick start the year on the 9th October.
During these we will welcome and congratulate your new Young Ambassadors. We will use this meeting to give them ideas on what we would like them to do from now until our Conference. We will be holding one central conference this year. The conference will be packed with fun workshops, activities, and opportunities on how to inspire their peers and increase participation in school.
Sport RCT Schools Text Service
As mentioned on the 9th September in our “Welcome back” email we are launching a Schools Text Service to send information directly to your phone!
You can sign up to receiving different types of information, ensuring you are kept up to date on specific offers and programmes.

Termly Connect
Opportunity for teachers to connect and engage with us at Sport RCT and other organisations to help identify, trial, develop and review new and existing programmes.
We want to use this opportunity to minimise communications to you at school and to have an open forum to update you with important information and consult with teachers here in RCT schools. We will be holding three Termly Connect online meetings across the year for Primary and Secondary schools.
Primary Schools:
- Wednesday 2nd October 2024 – 12pm (Book HERE)
- Wednesday 29th January 2025 – 12pm
- Wednesday 2nd April 2025 – 12pm
Secondary Schools:
- Thursday 3rd October 2024 – 1pm (Book HERE)
- Thursday 30th January 2025 – 1pm

External Funding
With support and funding being cut for Sport and Physical activity we have been looking for other funding streams that our schools can access.
Hopefully you have seen our External Funding Opportunities page on the website in recent months. If you haven’t this page will be updated regularly with funding opportunities that your school can access.
The grants on this page can range from £250 - £10,000 depending on the funder. They also cover a range of themes such as Health and Wellbeing, Environmental, Sport and Physical Activity.
Keep an eye on the website as we will regularly update the funds. When this happens it will also be posted on our app.
