Right to be informed

The right to be told that that the Council is processing your personal information and what it is being used for.

Right to access
The right to ask the Council if it holds personal information about you, what it uses the information for and to be given a copy of that information.   
Right to correct incorrect information

The right to ask the Council to correct inaccurate or incomplete information. 

Right to erasure
The right to ask the Council to have your personal information deleted or removed. 
Right to restrict processing

The right to ask the Council to stop or restrict the processing of your personal information.

Right to portability
The right to obtain and reuse your personal data for your own purposes across different services.

The right to your personal information being used for certain purposes


Right to automated decision making and profiling
Provides protection for individuals against the risk that a potentially damaging decision is made about them without human intervention.
