Black Gold Tours - Terms and Conditions of Ticket Sales

 
  • The Black Gold experience includes both surface and underground experience guided tours. Please note that areas of this Attraction are dark.
  • For the safety and comfort of all guests, you should be in good health and free from heart, breathing, back, neck problems, motion sickness or other conditions that could be aggravated by the Attractions environment.
  • Ticket sales are final and are non refundable and non transferable. Inevitably bad weather can affect any attraction. If we have to close the attraction as it is unsafe to proceed, visitors will be offered an alternative date/time if applicable. A refund will only be offered if Rhondda Heritage Park is closed or cancels the guided tour.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your allocated tour, late arrivals may not get to join the tour and miss out on elements of the guided tour.
  • For health and safety reasons (due to the topographical features of the Attraction), wheelchairs and other mobility devices are not permitted within the underground tour. For assistance with visitors who have mobility issues please call 01443 682036.
  • Special effects are used in the attraction such as flash lighting and smoke effects visitors who have a medical sensitivity to these effects should not participate.
  • By entering the Attraction, you accept that you have a duty to take reasonable steps to ensure your own safety, taking into account any personal medical conditions.
  • All persons entering the Attraction must pay for admission or hold a valid ticket.
  • Any persons entering the Attraction may be searched by authorised personnel on entry or at any time during the Attraction. Failure to submit to any requested search by authorised personnel will lead to refusal of admission and/or ejection. 
  • Unnecessary noise or any behaviour likely to cause distress, confusion or nuisance or affect the safety of the other guests or staff is not permitted in any part of the Attraction. Any persons acting in such a manner will be ejected from the tour and where appropriate may be subject to legal proceeding.
  • Smoking (including the use of e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited.
  • Appropriate clothing and shoes must be worn at all times whilst at the Attraction.
  • Animals are not permitted in the Attraction except for guide and assistance dogs.
  • The consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited. Anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted access to the Attraction.
  • We are expecting a large number of visitors to the Attraction so there may be a waiting time. Whilst we will endeavour to let you access the Attraction at the allocated time given please be aware short delays may occur at peak periods.
  • Though every effort will be made to deliver the experience as advertised there may be times where this is not possible. Rhondda Heritage Park reserves the right to amend, change or alter the tour element of the attraction without prior notice.
  • Entry to the Black Gold Exhibition area is free and available without purchasing a ticket.
  • New for 2018 Dram the cinematic experience is a thrilling visual and special effects simulation. Visitors should be free from any heart conditions or abnormal blood pressure, Motion Sickness or dizziness, Sensitivity to loud and sudden noises have a medical sensitivity to Strobe lighting & Fog effects, recent surgery or other lung or respiratory conditions that may be aggravated by this attraction, expectant mothers should seek advice from their tour guide before stepping aboard.    
  • Rhondda Heritage Park reserves the right to refuse admission to the Attraction, ban from entry to the Attraction, or remove from the Attraction without any right to a refund any person who breaches these terms and conditions.

  • For the safety and comfort of all guests, you should be in good health and free from heart, breathing, back, neck problems, motion sickness or other conditions that could be aggravated by the attraction’s environment. Special effects are used in the attraction such as flash lighting and smoke effects visitors who have a medical sensitivity to these effects should not participate.
  • Ticket sales are final and are currently non-refundable and non-transferable. However, in the event of a positive Covid result your tour will be cancelled and re-arranged to a time after your isolation period. 
  • Inevitably bad weather can affect any attraction. If we have to close the attraction as it is unsafe to proceed, visitors will be offered an alternative date/time if applicable. A refund will only be offered if Rhondda Heritage Park is closed or cancels the guided tour.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes before your allocated tour time.  Due to Covid restrictions you will be assigned to a waiting area and collected by your tour guide. It is only your group on tour so if you arrive late you may still be able to go ahead but may miss out on elements of the guided tour.
  • Please advise us in advance if you have a wheelchair user in your party.

  • All visitors unless exempt are required to wear a mask whilst indoors Bottom of Form
